Terms of service

Blinx gives your business one page that does the work: call, WhatsApp, directions, bookings, enquiries. These are the terms of that deal, in plain English. Blinx is operated by Brownbook Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 06572956, registered office 80 East Street, Brighton, BN1 1NF), and you can reach a person at hello@blinx.biz.

Your account and your trial

Creating a page starts a 30-day Pro trial. No card is asked for, and nothing is charged during it. When the trial ends you choose: subscribe to Pro, or continue on the basic page. Nothing you built is deleted either way.

Paying for Pro

Pro is $5 a month, or $46.80 a year, which works out at $3.90 a month. Payments are taken by Stripe against the card you give them. You can cancel any time from the app: your Pro features run to the end of what you have paid for, and then the page continues on basic. Your content is preserved exactly as you left it, and returns the moment you subscribe again. Downgrading never deletes anything.

Your page and your content

Your content stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it, which is the entire point of the product, and nothing more. In return you promise it is honest and lawful: it describes your real business, you have the right to the photos and videos you upload, and it is not misleading about prices or services. We can unpublish a page that breaks that promise, and we would tell you why.

Bookings and enquiries

Blinx carries messages and booking requests between you and your customers. The work itself, and the agreement to do it, is between you and them. A confirmed slot in the diary is your commitment, not ours, and customer details you receive through Blinx are yours to look after: use them for the enquiry they came from, not for marketing lists.

The Verified badge and reviews

Verified means one thing: the page is connected to a Google Business Profile that Google has verified, which confirms the business exists where it says it does. It is not an endorsement of anyone's workmanship. Ratings and reviews shown on pages come from Google and belong to their authors; we refresh them, we do not write or edit them.

What you can expect from us

We work to keep Blinx fast, backed up and available, and we protect your data as the privacy page describes. Like every online service we cannot promise zero downtime, and we are not liable for business lost during an outage beyond what you have paid us in the past year. Nothing in these terms removes rights the law gives you that cannot be removed.

Deleting your account

Delete means delete. Your page, photos, statistics, bookings and account are removed together, immediately, and we do not keep a shadow copy to win you back with. Encrypted backups age out over the following weeks.

Changes, and which law applies

If these terms change in a way that matters, we email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, where Brownbook Limited is based. If you use Blinx from somewhere else, you keep any protections the law of your own country gives you that cannot be signed away; nothing here tries to take those.
